Youth Empowering the Society, Inc. is the first non-profit organization that is founded, owned, and ran by anyone in
the Bennaugh Family. The Founder/Owner/Acting Executive Director/Dean of Students Robert A. Bennaugh decided to show the positive
side of youth and to show that they could give back to the very saame communities that talk down on them. YES helps the youth
learn different life skills and teaches theme to put what they have learned to good use to help destroy the negative image
that has been put on the youth of this generation and especially the youth of Southeast Washington , D.C. We also have chosen
the Falcon as our symbol to let everyone know that we have the ability to be swift, cunning and the ability to see father
than others even if we have obstacles to overcome in life.
Our Mission
The mission of YES is to enroll all of the youth in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area and teach them how to use their
intelligence to get where they want to be in life and not to let anyone differ their dreams for any reasons.
